It was time to go and do some fishing. Most of southern AZ is shut down in the fishing department except a few spots. I was thinking maybe, just maybe the bass would be on the topwater grab. Unfortunately I was wrong and didn't catch a single bass, on top or down deep. Hey I still got out and nailed a ton of bluegill on topwater so it's close enough and at least I was fishing.
The gills destroyed my popper. It was non stop action...a fish every cast. Nothing big but it beats sitting on the coach or studying. Hopefully the monsoons come soon that usually gets the bass looking up.
