Here is a version of a czech nymph that I designed for local waters. It is more of a scud type imitation than a lot of the caddis style czech nymphs. Give it a try you'll like it.

Hook: TMC 2457 #14
Bead: 7/64 Gold Tungsten Bead
Thread: Black 6/0
Rib: Small Silver Wire
Shellback: 1/8 Clear Scud Back
Abdomen: Olive Scud Dubbing
Hot Spot: UV Orange Ice Dub
Thorax: Olive Scud Dubbing
I fold the scud back over and rib right after dubbing the hot spot and then pick out the dubbed thorax.
Sorry about the shadows in the pic. I am trying to figure out how to make them go away.
