The longer you fish the more you subconsciously compare things. Last year the olives were hatching by now, the fish didn't seem to refuse foam bugs like this, the fish looked healthier last year and so on. Today I found myself trying to compare the quality of fishing to other days on the river. It probably wasn't my best day ever on the Provo but it is on a short list.
