I managed to get a hour or so of fishing in on an urban lake today. I ended up getting it handed to me by the carp. I had one solid hookup that broke me off and missed two others. The water clarity was off but the fish were on the feed and you just had to keep your eyes on the lookout.
Muddy waters.
Someone else thinks it's good fishing too.
At least I didn't get skunked thanks to a bluegill or two. I played around with the color on the last pic cause it was blurry anyway. A rust colored backstabber accounted for all the action today. I am sure if I'd had more time I could have gotten my revenge on the carp. Headed for Flagstaff thursday so stay tuned for some pike on the fly action!!
